In order to benefit most from our services and rewards you need to register with our website. Registration is FREE and won't take any longer than 20 seconds! You would only be providing the same details as you would to a takeaway restaurant. Please rest assured that we do not use or share your information with any third party company.
You can either register before placing your order or after you have added your meal to the basket.
Registration is simple and quick. On our home page click on "Sign Up" tab and fill in the required fields. Please read and agree with the Terms and Conditions, then click on "Create Profile" button. Congratulations, you are now registered and ready to place your order.
Restaurants may need to contact you to confirm your order or to find your address. Therefore, you are required to provide your contact number. Alternatively, you can provide a landline number.
Yes you can. However, we recommend using a mobile number as we would be sending promotional text messages with the latest offers from your local takeaways from time to time and with an instance SMS confirmation letting you know whether your order has been accepted or rejected by the restaurant and how long your order will be.
The password must be mixture of digits and letters.
Please check first to ensure that you have entered your e-mail address correctly. If your e-mail address is correct then this could mean that you already have an account with us and if you don't remember your password you can use our "Forgotten password" facility and you will receive your password via e-mail.
You can login by entering your Email and Password in the home page via "Login" tab on the top right hand corner of the website. Alternatively, you can add your meal to the basket and login afterwards.
Simply click on "Forgot my password" and you can then have your password sent to your registered e-mail.
  • 1 Find your local takeaway by entering your Postcode
  • 2 You will then see the list of all the restaurants who would deliver to your postcode.
  • 3 Once the interactive menu appears:
    • A You can select the menu categories on the left hand side
    • B The items will then be displayed in the middle of the page
    • C Select your favourite item(s)
    • D "Plus" button will add the selected item to the basket
    • E Once you have chosen any extras to your item, it will be added to the basket.
    • F You may delete any unwanted item by clicking on the "Bin Logo" and this will remove the item from the basket
    • G All the special offers and meal deals can be found under the "Meal Deal and Special Offer" category on the top left hand corner of the menu
    • H Use the "Comment Box" for any extra comments such as delivery instruction
    • I Once you finished adding the items to the basket and customising them, click on "Order Now" button to place your order.
  • 4 If you require to make any amendments, click on "Edit Order" to go back to the menu page
  • 5 Finally confirm your order
    • A Please check your E-mail Address and Mobile Number to ensure their correctness
    • B Please check that your Delivery Address and Billing Address are correct to avoid any delays with your order. (If the Billing address is not correct your card payment may get declined)
    • C If you have earned any points, you may use them here to get a discount on your online order from Love Takeaway.
    • D If you have been given a voucher, you may use it here to get a discount on your online order from Love Takeaway. Simply enter the voucher code that you would like to use then click on " "Redeem Voucher", its found under gift voucher t check out.
    • E You can then select to place your order to be delivered as soon as possible or select "Order for later" and choose the "Delivery Time".
    • F Finally choose to pay by card/Paypal online (a service charge applies) or by cash on delivery or collection
  • 6 Now that you have placed your order
  • 7 You can monitor the live order progress from inside your account.
Place your postcode on our search bar and you will then see the list of the restaurants who would deliver to your address.
After you have searched for the restaurants by postcode, you can now select what you fancy from the drop down list on the top left hand corner of the page.
Sorry if we do not yet cover your area. We are just starting our UK expansion program, and aim to get a few 1000 more restaurants in 2015. If you have a particular favourite, you can recommend them, or even introduce your favourite restaurants!
The preferred method to place an order is to do it via our website directly. There is nothing to be afraid of, our website is secure and uses the latest technology to encrypt your information. We do not store your card details and you will be providing your card details to our payment handling company, PayPal.
If you would like to order from more than one restaurant you need to place your order for each restaurant separately.
Click on the "Minus Icon" inside the basket next to the item which you want to remove.
Yes, you can place an order by choosing an available time for collection or delivery later that same day (depending on the restaurants opening hours). Orders can only be submitted for the current day.
To change your contact details, you need to log in to your account, then click on "My Account" and then you can change, add or remove any of your details.
You may cancel your order before restaurants accept your order. Once your order has been sent to the restaurant, you can no longer cancel it. You will need to call us immediately on 0800 7720968 and if the restaurant has not yet started the order preparation we may be able to cancel your order.
If you would like to add an item to your existing order and you are paying by cash on delivery or collection, the easiest way is to contact us immediately and we will try to add the extra items to your order and notify the restaurant. However, if you have already paid by card we would need to cancel that order and you need to re-order and make the payment again. Obviously your first transaction will be refunded to you
You will receive a notification email and SMS text message when we have received your order.
You will receive an email and SMS notifying you when the restaurant has received and accepted your order. If you chose collection, then you should wait until you receive this email before making plans to collect your food. If we were unable to contact the restaurant, or the restaurant is unable to accept your order for any reason, your order will be cancelled and you will be notified via email and/or SMS.
You can either pay by card or PayPal online or by cash on delivery or collection. If you're paying by cash, just pay the amount to the driver. The total amount is provided in your confirmation email, so this will be quick and easy, with no need to calculate and discuss the price at the door. If you don't have any cash in hand, don't worry you can pay by debit or credit card online. If you choose to pay online, your card information is handled securely and not shared or stored in any ways. The transaction will be shown on your statement as a payment to Love Takeaway. Please note that restaurants do not accept cheque as a method of payment.
Just because you have ordered from Love Takeaway doesn't mean you're not able to contact the restaurant directly with any questions or concerns should you need to do so. We always provide the contact number of the restaurant you have ordered within the automated email we send you upon confirming your order. If for any reason you are not able to reach the restaurant by telephone, don't forget you can always contact us, and our friendly customer service team will follow up on your behalf.
If, for some reason, the food is delivered unexpectedly, just refuse the order at the door. If you accept the food, but then realise that there’s a problem with the order and you cant eat it, contact the restaurant and ask them to collect the food or to replace the food. Once you’ve done so, just let us know and so we can verify it and cancel the order in our system. If you’ve paid in cash, you should receive your refund at the door. If you paid online, we would issue your refund once you’ve notified us of the cancellation. We can only issue a full refund of an online payment if you don’t accept your food, or if you have the restaurant to come and pick it up after you’ve received it. As long as you don’t keep the food (or throw it in the bin), Love Takeaway will always make sure your refund is issued right away.
If there are any issues with the food or service you have received, it’s usually best to contact the restaurant in the first instance. The contact number for the restaurant is always provided in the email we send you upon confirming your order. If you are unable to resolve the issue with the restaurant, or if for any reason you are not able to phone the restaurant, don't hesitate to contact us. Our friendly customer service advisors are available every day between 12pm and 12 midnight, and were more than happy to do whatever we can to make sure everything with your order runs smoothly.
